Itinerary
Day 1 (Bad Gastein)
You will arrive in Bad Gastein, a cool small city in the Gasteiner Valley. It is world-famous for it's wellness resorts and spas. After meeting each other in Hotel Krone, our venue for the first night, you will recieve a briefing from our guide. You will have time to explore Bad Gastein before dinner at Hotel Krone.
Day 2 (Gamskarkogel)
After breakfast, we will get ready for our first hike of the trip. We will hike to the summit of the Gamskarkogel, one of Europe's highest grass mountains. We will need approximately 2 hours to get to the summit. During the hike, there is a chance to spot marmots, deer and chamois . The view from the top is spectacular. We will spend the night in the Gamskarkogelhütte, a cozy mountain hut located on the top of the mountain. In case of clear skies, we will attempt to photograph the stars.
Day 3 (Graukogel)
After some sunrise photos and breakfast, we will descent to the Rastötzenalm. Back in valley, we will collect our sleeping bags and take the ski lift to the Graukogel. From here, we will choose the best location for sunset, depending on the weather conditions. To experience a good location for sunrise the next morning, we will exclusively spend the night at the Graukogelhütte, which is normally off-limits.
Day 4 (Stubnerkogel)

Day 5 (Sportgastein)
Sportgastein or Nassfeld is a charming hamlet located on a lush mountain plateau. You will have time to explore the authentic small-scale farming life. A waterfall or mountain stream is never too far away. We will have dinner and spend the night at the Valeriehaus.
Day 6 (Departure)
The tour will officially end after breakfast at the Valeriehaus. We will say goodbye and you will be completely free to spend some extra time at Sportgastein, head back home or continue your journey.
